We have a six rink green which is considered by many as the best kept green on the Isle of Wight, a superb new club house
with all the usual facilities including an excellent bar and full kitchen facilities.
The Club plays host to selected inter-County matches and county competitions.
There are currently four men’s teams and three ladies teams playing in the County league competitions and challenge cups.
In addition, we play around twenty matches each year against touring teams from all parts of the UK plus a full range of
club competitions including occasional fun events.
An active social committee hosts a range of non-bowls events throughout the year including regular coffee mornings, theatre
visits, social evenings, club nights and others.
We will be celebrating our Centenary Year in 2008 with a range of speciality events.
We always extend a warm welcome to new playing members, whether new to the game or of different levels of bowling
experience. Associate membership is open to players wishing to use the rinks without needing to be registered with the
leagues.
We also welcome bowlers visiting the island to enjoy our facilities for a small green fee. Appropriate bowls footware is
required.
